Heksene kagler og stirrer ondt på heksen til højre. I Whirling Witchcraft er spillerne hekse der forsøger at sende så mange eller så besværlige ingredienser som muligt videre til deres modspiller mod højre. Hver runde lægger spillerne en ny opskrift ned der omformer deres egne ingredienser inden de sender dem videre til næste spiller indtil nogen på det tidspunkt løber tør for plads på deres lager og dermed taber spillet.

The witches are cackling and staring evily at the witch to their right side. In Whirling Witchcraft the players are witches trying to send as many and as difficult materials on to their right neighbour.
Every round the players adds new recipes to their collection to transform their own ingredients before sending them on to the next players untill someone runs out of storage space and loses the game.

Whirling Witchcraft is nominated for a solid game-design, which results in a game that is both easy and intuitive to play. The way you send both resources and recipes to your opponents, makes it both challenging and fun when trying to make sure the right witch loses and you thereby win yourself. It is a pleasure to play again and again.

Collectors er et worker-placement spil, hvor man i kapløb med andre spillere samler klassiske fandom-genstande, manipulerer værdien af dem, og stadig forsøger at købe dem billigst muligt. Spillet benytter sig af informative og multifunktionelle kort, der sammen med en veldesignet spilleplade intuitivt guider spillet.

Collectors is a worker placement game where you race the other players to collect classic items from different fandoms, manipulate their value and still try to buy them as cheaply as possible. The game uses informative and multi functional cards, along with a well-designed board guides the game intuitively.
Collectors is nominated for being a solid, well polished entertaining game that succeeds in giving the players the feel of nerve wrecking competition in impressingly short time.

Craters: Winner, Bedste Innovation - Brætspil
Craters is nominated for the especially strong sub-element of the kalaha-styled worker placement mechanic. The combination of these two well-known elements gives a truly fresh and engaging experience for the players.
The mechanic is as central to the game as the three prominent families are to the Lunar Nexus itself, and forces the players to make choices not only based on their own preferences, but also on what will benefit the co-playes the least.
The use of black and white meeples to grant actions to both the Active and Inactive players is both elegant and exciting, and makes each turn interesting to all players.

The game has a high level of complexity which is mitigated by the use of player aides and a rule book which is easy to reference.
The theme is hard coded in the rule book without corrupting the data being conveyed. With actions written in code blocks and corruption-cubes taking up more and more of your space, DystopAI immersively transposes your consciousness into that of an AI slowly falling apart.
