No one quite knows what sparked that first rebellion, but as the latest Androids became aware of their own condition, they resisted, they rebelled: they fled.

Then, humanity reacted. Their brave new world was built on the backs of Androids and could not be retained without them. This is the story about that reaction. It is a story about privilege, about repression and the systematic killing of their scapegoats, their rebellious children; their Androids.


Where Androids Die is the final and independent installment of the Androids larp trilogy, created by the Atropos team. It is inspired in theme by Blade Runner and a future envisioned in the 80s, surrounded by an atmosphere of rainy streets and obscure noodle bars.

The final larp has it all. Nearly nine years have passed since the first one, and the Android situation has escalated. The N6 are rumoured to be unsafe, but are still being bought, used and broken like never before. The entire City opens up and the participants play everything from the very top of the world to free Androids living in the slums. Student groups argue for armed resistance, bigoted workers are driving their own violence against Androids outside the law. Police and politicians wrest with an escalating situation while wealthy Famed and others are clinging to their privileged Androids in denial of the horrors that await.

In the end, there will be an order to recall all N6 models. That means killing them. Androids and humans alike will have to make a choice – to stand and fight and inevitably die, try to flee, or cooperate in the desperate attempts at appeasing the private Company security forces. Everyone is dragged into the maelstrom of terrible choices, from the rugged crimial to an idealist detective, from the scientists who just wanted peace to the exploitative Company board.
