Using the mythic 13th century Europe of Ars Magica (without the complex rules), the game is about characters who have stumbled into faerie.
We lay our scene in mythic Europe - middle ages europe where the myths are true. Dragons slumber in caves, faeries sour the milk, kings rule by divine right, and wizard wield the art of magic. Two seperate Magi and their trusted companions are both questing for magical power. In the process their stumble into a faerie realm and meet the inhabitants. The question is whether they will find a way to leave, or perhaps, do they really want to?
And Not to Yield is a discourse-strong freeform larp, dealing with theme of desire. It uses the setting of the Ars Magica tabletop RPG. No in-depth knowledge of the setting is required to play, but very general knowledge of folk lore and myth is useful. No special costume or props are required.
