This time of year used to be cold, but now it’s hot and wet, a perpetual Indian Summer. That’s global warming for you. As you stare at the SeaWall that holds back the hundred extra feet of sea level, you’re not the only one looking. Not because the city is crowded with Four Score and Twenty Million bodies. Rather, you’re not alone in your head. When you share your platform with other strong Artificial Intelligences, who gets control is an ongoing battle of will.

No-one likes a Clicker, especially one with notions of doing the right thing by humans and machines alike. But that won’t stop you solving this crime. The question is, which you will solve it?
