Fastaval (2026)
Yield: The Rightful Heir: Nominated, Bedste Innovation – Brætspil

As you build your map and place your towns, you’re always looking to create long chains that maximize output - and in the process you’re creating vulnerabilities for when the opposing armies move in.
The turn structure is a wonderful twist as well - as the different types of turns snake back and forth, a strategic player will see the windows opening and closing for different types of actions, and can in turn lay plans to exploit those windows.
In all, Yield is a worthy successor to its genre, honoring its legacy while bringing new ideas to the table.
