Description

..I’m not Batman. You’re not Batman. In fact, nobody sitting in this room is Batman. And we never will be...

We Almost Were Heroes is a MiniLarp about superheroes whose powers are as good as useless, which is why they all flunked out of superhero college. They meet in a support group. What have the heroes been up to? It’s about traumatic experiences, bitterness and accepting the fact that you will never be one of the big ones. It’s about kindred spirits. About self-love. And about the most useless superpowers in the whole wide world.

Content Warnings: Although the overall larp has a lighthearted mood, deeper topics might occur. It really depends on the player group if the larp is serious or funny. It should be advised to have fun with the scenario, but as a character take it and the others seriously.

Presented by
Tlanti: Tlanti has moderated panels at conventions mainly focusing on diversity and is head of programming for Redemption 2020. They have LARPed for a number of years – anything from laser tag to crisis management games – and while they have NPC’d, they have never actually GM’d at a gaming convention – but are going to for the adventure and experience!
