A bloody war without rules spared no one and took men by thousands. Every woman lost someone - father, brother, lover. They learned to live without them, took over their roles.
Because a war does not ask.
The few who returned from the war have never recovered. Life does not wait though, the world recovered, the country without men in leadership roles began to flourish again. The government now faces an important task: to ensure that such a war is never repeated.

Gilead is a game inspired by the book The Handmaid’s Tale.
The players will explore and experience the historical period of the Republic of Gilead as participants of a conference organized by the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes.

The players will play several characters in the game, some of which may be of a different gender than they identify as.

Кровавая война не пощадила никого и забрала жизни тысяч мужчин. Каждая женщина потеряла кого-то: отца, брата, любимого. Они научились жить без них, они заняли их места. Потому что война не спрашивает. Те немногие, кто вернулся с войны, так никогда и не оправились. Но жизнь идёт своим чередом, мир оправился, страна расцвела опять, даже без мужчин у власти. Самой важной задачей правительства теперь является недопущение повторения войны.

"Гилеад" - это ларп, вдохновлённый книгой "Рассказ служанки". Участни_цы будут исследовать и попытаются прожить определённый период из истории Республики Гилеад в качестве участни_ц конференции, организованной Институтом изучения тоталитарных режимов. Некоторые персонаж_ки ларпа моут отличаться от гендера участни_ц.
