For a group of the hardened prisoners, four days of service in an animal shelter seems like an easy way to get paroled. The deal is simple: if they obey the manager of the shelter and finish their tasks, they walk out free; if they break the rules or fail a task, they stay in prison forever.
However, they don’t know that they are actually being used as test subjects in a psychological experiment: each night, while they sleep, an important memory of one prisoner is exchanged for the memory of another inmate. Each morning, they are less and less of the people they used to be.
You will play those dysfunctional characters that struggle to figure out what is really going on in the animal shelter, deciding at the same time the fate of some poor animal, under constant scrutiny from the enigmatic manager. By the end of the game, you will get to decide the value of the human memories – should a person sacrifice their freedom to preserve their memories, or walk free by utterly forgetting the past?
