Description

Humanity was flushed with success after winning its first interstellar war sixteen years ago. Three years ago the human race had first contact with another alien race, known as the Minbari. It went badly wrong, and humanity found itself at war with a technically more advanced foe. It’s no secret the Earth Alliance has been losing the war, and losing badly.

Today a call has gone out for everyone able to fly a ship to report to a muster station. Whether of your own choosing or not, you ended up there. From there you’ve been moved out to near a military airfield and told to wait pending an announcement that should come in an hour or two.

Against the Night is a discourse-strong freeform larp, dealing with strong emotions and themes of conflict and sacrifice. It uses the setting of the Babylon 5 TV Series and tabletop RPG. However, no in-depth knowledge of the setting is required to play. No special costume or props are required.
