Description

A group of siblings in 1940’s Denmark battles a tragedy as they move into the center of a time-loop mindfuck mystery. A tale of family love and relations.

Liv is a story set in the early 1940s, where a group of siblings is sent away from the city to escape turbulent times. They find themselves at the coastal home of their kind but distant aunt and their eccentric inventor uncle. As they try to find comfort in their new surroundings, they soon experience a life-changing event that leaves them with more questions than the adults can answer.

Liv is a tale about being a child in a vast and unfamiliar world. The scenario explores themes of loss, grief, and the bonds between siblings. It is also a time-loop, mind-bending mystery set in a large, wind-swept mansion. What is Uncle Otto building in his workshop in the basement? Why is Aunt Søs dressed for a funeral? And can the siblings stick together until they can return home to their mother and father?

Liv is a semi-live experience where the story unfolds through a series of live scenes directed by the game master. These scenes focus on the siblings' internal emotions and relationships and how they are affected by a confusing and ever-changing world.

Player types:

You enjoy close relationship-driven gameplay, where there is room for both large outbreaks and small, tender moments. You feel comfortable with role-playing in a structured framework and exploring a predefined story rather than an open sandbox. You find it exciting to delve into a story where you may not have everything figured out by the end of the game.

Gamemaster type:

The scenario has a highly structured framework and script for the game master. Your role is to present the scenes in an engaging way and to cut the scenes according to the scenario's timeline. You have opportunities to influence the scenes indirectly but do not play supporting characters yourself.

Content notes: Death in the family

For hvad bygger onkel Otto i sit værksted nede i kælderen?
