The USS Dunsany is on a routine mission, delivering supplies to a long-term research colony stationed on Vesbius-IV. Vesbius-IV is a recently discovered extinct planet, once home to advanced civilisations that died out centuries ago. Located far away from any other space-faring race, the planet has remained entirely undisturbed until a Federation spaceship stumbled on it several decades ago. Ancient Vesbiusians are renowned by modern historians for their rich culture and unique advancements in technology.
However since the silent dead planet was first uncovered, one question has remained unanswered: Where did all the life go? As you approach the planet, a message sent to you from the researchers indicates the uncovering of a new series of monuments. Have they finally found their answer or does something much darker await them in the shadows of the hand-carved monoliths that tower over empty streets of rubble?
