Ireland‘a history is both rich and deep. Sometime literally. Beneath the surface, uncountable treasures of ages past have been unearthed. But recently something altogether older has surfaced.

In the wake of a freak earthquake no one could have predicted or planned for, a series of man-made caverns and tombs have been exposed in the Bog of Allen. No only are they astonishingly well-preserved for their age, they are also far larger than any previously found prehistoric site in Europe. The government of Ireland, under the scrutinising eye of UNESCO, has locked the area down until the site can be preserved and protected.
