Description
Attending a cultural exhibition in a remote Tibetan village leads you to investigate grisly murders, a curious cryptid and horrific secrets in this modern-day Call of Cthulhu scenario. Uncover the mysteries of the village and its ancient stone maze before you too suffer a frozen demise!
Villagers in remote Tibet embrace the collective, and better lives_ , or so says the Committee for Cultural Promotion (Tibet Autonomous Zone) in your invitation to the Exhibition of Collectivist Progress and Cultural Appreciation held in the remote Tibetan village of Nyanmongrong. The invite offers an all-expenses-paid trip promising natural beauty, cultural tourism, a unique pre-Buddhist temple and rumors about the town's own "mythical" cryptid. What it delivers is secrets, lies and mysterious deaths. If you can't untangle the deceptions and uncover the mysteries of the village's ancient stone maze, you too may be facing a frozen demise and an eternity in the ice.
This is a modern-day scenario for Call of Cthulhu developed from the outline created by Sandy Peterson in his seminar, "Creating A Call of Cthulhu Scenario the Sandy Petersen Way", at the 2022 Chaosium Con. All materials and pre-gens provided.
