Description
You all live in the same apartment block, but what do you know about each other? The regular meetings you attend, ostensibly to manage your shared property, often devolve into bickering and venting some steam at each other. Behind every door lies a world the other residents know nothing about, and even within each set of walls several prisoners coexist, victims of their own inability to communicate: couples growing ever more distant, men and women locked in a quest for solace. From the outside, a young building manager observes the ups and downs of this particular corner of humanity, and wonders: is there a way to truly understand each other, or are we all inevitably doomed to solitude? You’ve been summoned to another meeting: that’s where your secret worlds collide.
This larp scenario is set in modern day Italy and written by Italians, but at its core it’s really about universal aspects of the human condition – not any specific detail of modern Italian society. It deals with themes of love, friendship, loneliness and incommunicability. The topics of sexual identity (LGBTQ), emigration, maternity, illness, social and political activism, marital fidelity, infertility, psychiatric drugs, suicidal thoughts, poverty and bankruptcy are also touched upon.
