Description
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….
This is a cinematic, open-ended game that uses a simple 2d6 system and where the players have a large narrative input. Only a little knowledge of Star Wars is required.
It is ten years since Episode VI and the death of the Emperor. The galaxy has fragmented, with factions of Imperials, New Republicans, crime syndicates and others, each vying for control. This is an alternative universe game so things can deviate from the official canon.
You can play a team of wholesome Jedi and heroes, neutral scoundrels and bounty hunters, nasty Sith, or a mixture of these. The characters are partially complete and can be quickly customised.
Your team needs to visit Mos Eisley on Tatooine for an important mission. The desert town is still a "wretched hive of scum and villainy".
At the start, you will each pick some plot elements from a list of inspirations (people, threats, events, places and things) and we will collectively create your employer and your mission using some of these.
During the game, players can narrate their rolled successes, partial successes and failures, embellishing them with the remaining plot elements and their own ideas.
There will also be some Star Wars Lego to provide further inspiration.
You may have a bad feeling about this….
