Now you have to be strong as a family and stick together, if you don't want to lose your mind in the vast emptiness of space. Inspired by TV shows like Lost in Space and The Expanse and Nordic Style Larps like Odysseus.

You are: The Mangatas, the most famous family in Spacefleet. Your Mission: to find a habitable planet. Because motherplanet Earth isn’t gonna do it for much longer. After 100 years of cryo sleep you woke up in this remote part of the universe. Now you have to be strong as a family and stick together, if you don’t want to lose your mind in the vast emptiness of space. Inspired in TV shows like Lost in Space and The Expanse. “The space between us” is an online larp for five players with a game duration of 5 hours including workshops and debrief. There will be prewritten characters and we will play via videochat. We will be playing members of a family of epic space explorers. They were sent on a deep space survey mission 100 lightyears from planet earth to search for another habitable planet. When they return to earth, 200 years will have passed and nothing will be the same. They have been in cryo for a hundred years, to wake up in a remote part of the universe were no human has been before. Now they are out here, alone, each of them travelling in their own space craft. They are only able to communicate to each other via videochat. They havent touched another human being in such a long time. And yet they have a mission to fullfill. Will they be able to find another habitable planet? Will they be able to deal with the ghosts of their pasts, that went with them on this journey? This larp focusses on the relationships the members of the family have with each other and how it is going to affect them in their mission of finding a new planet. How this larp will run virtually
We will play on Zoom. There will be a players guide (8pages) with character teasers, you will pick a character ahead of time and get the character sheet which is 3 pages long. You should have read players guide and character sheet before the game.
