It rumbles with every bump on the road. In the dark of the container you can look into the faces of your fellow combatants. They look the way you feel: tired, exhausted, and anxious. You have been cooped up between a few boxes for almost 40 hours on the way, with hardly enough space to even stretch your legs. Your truck stops. You hear the driver's door. Someone walks along the side of the wagon, hits the wall of your container twice, and then opens it. "Welcome to Munich". The words don't sound very warm, but for the first time in two days you see sunlight again and breathe fresh air.
Now the hard part begins ...

Bei jeder Unebenheit auf der Straße rumpelt es. Im Dunkel des Containers blickst du in die Gesichter deiner Mitstreiter. Sie sehen so aus, wie du dich fühlst: Müde, erschöpft und ängstlich. Fast 40 Stunden seid ihr nun zwischen ein paar Kisten eingepfercht auf dem Weg, mit kaum genug Freiraum, um auch nur die Beine auszustrecken. Euer LKW hält an. Ihr hört die Fahrertür. Jemand läuft an der Seite des Wagens entlang, schlägt zweimal gegen die Wand eures Containers und öffnet ihn dann. „Willkommen in München“. Die Worte klingen wenig herzlich, aber zum ersten Mal seit zwei Tagen seht ihr wieder Sonnenlicht und atmet frische Luft.
