About the convention:

Gaelcon is the Premier Games Convention presented by the Irish Games Association. Each year Gaelcon plays host to a wide range of role-playing games. figure games. collectible card games. board games, and every year Gaelcon continues to get bigger and better and has done so for the last 15 years. Gaelcon is also known for its unique special events, and helping to promote up and coming Irish Games Designers.
In previous years, Gaelcon has been honoured to have as guests Steve Jackson, Richard Gareld, Dave Allsop, James Wallis, Mike Pondsmith, Jake Thornton, Jervis Johnson, Phil Masters, Graham McNeill, Will Simpson, and many more. • Special Event: RED DEATH COMMANDO, A Savage Worlds Special Event Eamon Honan In Russia in 1942, there was a band of men. Together they were the most devastating fighting machine the Red Army ever assembled, the most terrifying foe the fascists ever faced, the meanest, toughest, most dangerous squad on the Eastern Front. They were savage, they were deadly....they were....THE RED DEATH COMMANDO !!! Death or victory await in this roleplaying-cum-wargame using the Savage Worlds system. See you at the front, Comrade!
• Special Event: TANK MADNESS !!! For those of you with a yen for world domination have probably noticed that no would be dictator really feels comfortable without a nice big shiny tank parked outside the presidential palace. Now of course, it might be an idea to start small since you haven't quite made it into the making your horse a senator club yet and what better place to start then our two inch long radio controlled tanks. Now not only to these puppies zip around the place at your command, but their turrets move and fire infra-red beams to destroy your enemies (well so long as your enemies consist entirely of two inch long RC tanks).

Come visit our 6 foot building in the main hall of Gaelcon 2003 and partake in the participations games all weekend long. This is an over 18's game. RPG/Larp/VVargame cross over.
• Special Event: Urra Pobieda by Eamon Honan Russia 1941 - 1945. The Fascist Vipers roll across the vast spaces of the Moderland, only to be checked at Moscow, Leningrad and Stalingrad and then driven back to Berlin. Refight the battles of the largest conflict in human history. Forward to Victory!
