During the French Revolution, we follow a series of people and their actions. The population of Paris discusses politics in salons, writes pamphlets, makes revolution in the streets and chops each other's heads off in the guillotine. Right until Napoleon shows up, establishes a new dictatorship and exhecútes anyone who comes in his way.
