The gunner of the PBR’s front-mounted 50 cal turns his attention upriver again while the helmsman contemplates what’s so fucking good with this shitty brown stinking river. Neither of the men notices the dark long shadow approaching the boat below the murky surface before it’s too late. Like being hit by a torpedo the PBR turns on its side in a plume of water. Yet another patrol boat is lost.

At the anchorage of USS Hunterdon County you and your crew are getting the Alpha ready for the insertion mission. The men of SEAL team One is loading their equipment on a second Alpha. The atmosphere is tense. A few days ago the Vietcong sent a message that they wanted a seize fire in the area. The cryptic message said that they know what’s behind the recent loses of PBR’s. But they need help with it and it’s in the best interest of us all to deal with it.

The mission is to link up with the Vietcong and find out what they are talking about.
