Nothing2Hide takes between 2.5 and 3 hours + brief/debrief and will be played entirely over Discord. It is one continuous group video chat, with diagetic role play prompts posted in text channels as ringtones play to alert the players. At certain points NPCs may join the chat when the characters receive phone calls.

The PCs are 3 middle aged married couples and 1 male divorcee. The men have all known each other since school, the women became friends through the men in their lives. Any player can play any character but the roles are 3 cis women and 4 cis men and heteronormative attitudes are part of the larp.

This is a game where instead of looking for opportunities to spill the juicy secrets on your character sheet, you try to keep them hidden for as long as possible. You can be certain that the GM is going to blow everything wide open sooner or later, through an escalating series of texts, emails, and phone calls. Players then deal with the fallout.

Many adult themes are included, but not everything applies to every character. Efforts are made during casting to let people play on the themes they want, and more importantly, avoid the ones they don’t.

Participant communications
Ahead of the game there will be cross-checking to make sure people are not put in an intimate relationship with someone they’re not comfortable doing that with. Then there will be a short casting form, followed by a 4 page players guide and 3-4 page character sheet. There is no pre-play or character workshopping.

Nudity (via picture message, can be toned down or replaced with text description). This is provided in game by the GM and is not provided in anyway provided by players.

Not included: Suicide, Self-harm, Miscarriage, Physical assaults of any kind, Sexual coercion/sexual violence
