On the eve of great festivities, a dark cloud hangs over the magnificent palace of Versailles as the guests whisper of a demonic presence after a noble lady was found dead and drained of blood in her chambers. What manner of monster could do such to thing to a young mother? And what happened to her child?

Story-driven, rules-light mystery adventure that is more gothic than horror, in the vein of the Gabriel Knight series, Penny Dreadful, Dracula and Brotherhood of the Wolf.
