The year is 1865 and all is not well with the Empire. The pirate Shào Yue and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom are attacking British interests and shipping in China and Southeast Asia. Their Tao Mages are able to defend against the power of the Empire’s steam powered arsenal. To stop them you have a plan that is a bit on the incredible side. But you have the supplies necessary to put it into action. The day has arrived and everything is ready. All you have to do is have the spell cast, enter the Imperial capital home of the Jade Emperor and the Celestial Bureaucracy and do what you need to. Hopefully you can keep your team under control in this action requiring stealth and subterfuge… As you most likely will not be able to, hope you have plans to deal with the consequences… If not, I hear the Chinese underworld is lovely this time of year…
