A longer version of Together Forever - now you can enjoy your perfect dates for an entire weekend!

Due to popular demand, we are now organising a longer version of Together Forever, staring on Friday evening and running until Sunday evening, with one day dedicated to each of the three trial relationships. The premise, setting, playstyle and general structure will remain identical to the original Together Forever, but we have added some new elements: a few optional events (e.g. a contest for the most romantic Valentine's Day date, or a tabloid talk show about the most scandalous matches), a "Dear Diary" channel for inner monologues, and new voice channels representing various VR, online and (*gasp*) physical locations.

​With this larp, we want to give the players an opportunity to get more immersed in their characters and play at a slightly slower pace compared to the (admittedly sometimes breakneck) pace of the regular Together Forever. We are however aware that longer online larps come with their own disadvantages (e.g. Zoom fatigue, or fear of missing out preventing players from taking care of their real-life needs), and we're taking some steps to remediate them. There will be some mandatory breaks, where all public text and video channels will be disabled, and longer free play periods which can be used as additional breaks.


The larp will happen on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during daytime hours for players based in European and East Coast timezones. We will accommodate East Coast players who might need a later start on Friday, just tell us in the sign-up form.

These are the core hours of the larp, the times between these hours are breaks.

Friday
18:00-22:30 (BST) Workshops, play (optional late start for people in later timezones).

Saturday
13:30-17:30 Play

Note: this schedule doesn't mean we want you stuck in front of your computer for hours on end that weekend! While there will be a few scheduled group events (around 4h total) when we would like you to be present on video chat, it is always fine to take breaks, and we actively encourage you to try out other forms of communication as well: e.g. talking with your partner on voice chat while making lunch, scrolling through and commenting on our "Facebook" while drinking tea, or texting your sibling as you're taking a walk.
