Beskrivelse

The village of Oil was a simple Urfling colony set near the coast of the jade Reach in the southeast of Tartarus. Bolts, electronics, and repairs were their trade and profession until one day the elected mayor began constructing speakers and posing guards across the village.

Citizens! You are now under the control of the Purifier. The following announcements are your new laws: All Bots are under a permanent curfew. A Bot shall not leave its domicile unless for work. All work is now under the control of the Purifier. A 100% living tax is in effect. Any Bot found not working will be sent for Re-Education. Any Bot who rebels will be sent for Re-Education. Those are the laws. Follow them.

Many Bots tried to fight, and many were “changed”. Now loyal to the Purifier, a faceless tyrant, only heard through the speakers that litter the village. However, this didn’t stop four plucky Urflings from fighting back. You are the N.D.U! The Neighbourhood Defence Unit is an underground super force of heroes bound by your belief in freedom! Your mission is to stop the Purifier once and for all!

In the N.D.U adventure, you will fight crime the old-fashioned way through investigation, coercion, and a few punches thrown into the mix. Will you defeat the fascist Purifier and free the villages from its oppression?!

Bots ‘n Pieces is a narrative role-playing game (RPG) about playing a team of light-hearted, ragtag, clapped-out robots on a contrastingly dangerous and deadly junk-strewn planet, the frontier world of Tartarus. The game uses Action Pools (dice pools) for players to defeat Challenges. Players build Action Pools by spending from a limited set of themed Programs to create a narrative description of their actions. Each Program is represented by a dice type: d4, d6, d8, d10, or d12. Players can also build Action Pools together by Combining the robotic bodies of two or more Bots, creating a new Character for a brief time.
