Beskrivelse
This is a haggle, a trading game designed by Sid Sackson. In this haggle, each player represents a collector of animals for zoos. The objective of the game is to create the most valuable zoo exhibits by producing the best assemblage of animals (cards).
The value of each exhibit is determined by the complex rules of the International Federation of Zoo Brokerage firms, which regrettably are not known to the players at the start. Instead each player begins the game with a secret, semi-random collection of animals plus knowledge of some of the valuation rules. Players are then given a fixed amount of time to mix with each other, before their final collections are due in.
What follows is pure negotiation. Trade animals for rules, animals for animals, rules for rules, or anything else (e.g. "Ill gladly rub your feet if you would let me know how to value flamingos"). Make up rumours of false valuation rules and circulate those. Perhaps try to corner the market on manatees. Interact in order to figure out which animals you might want to collect and of course to gather those animals.
Haggle is not really a freeform, as such. Rather it is a party game with a strong freeform feel.
NB (from the Uberfrockmeisterfuhrer) To make the game work Michael needs a definite head count, because he needs to do maths and stuff. Please bear this in mind when signing up
