**Shadowood**

Shadowood is a 2-hour comedy boffer LARP for 8 players. Four dysfunctional Shadowood Staffers need to make up an actual intro mod. Four boffer newbies will do an in-game character creation before going through the actual intro mod. There will be a briefing, emotional tools, and character workshopping, which should take roughly 30 minutes followed by 90 minutes of game time.

For those unfamiliar with intro mods, they are scenes to help introduce and transition new players to a game world. The Shadowood Staff side and Player side are fundementally different kinds of games. Staff side has more melodrama and stress creating/running the intro mod. The Player side is about character creation and happy collaboration as a group before playing the intro mod. As a boffer game, we'll be using padded weapons to simulate combat and people are expected to walk around the space during the mod running portion. We are happy offering accessibility/mobility options to help accomodate people here.

Please note that this is a boffer comedy farce and not indicative of actual boffer LARP experiences out there. We will use player surveys and workshopping to help determine tropes and issues at the forefront before game.
