Beskrivelse
In Challenger City, superheroes young and old defend the defenseless against crime and supervillainy! You are one of these powerful paragons, with abilities beyond the ken of mere mortals. This fateful eve, the Disaster Alert System has summoned all heroes to the hallowed halls of the Challenger Council. Nobody knows what the disaster is, but rumors are already flying that it has something to do with the arch-villain known only as Doomwatcher.
For over fifty years Doomwatcher has eluded justice and earned unparalleled infamy. Piloting an ever-changing super-science battlesuit, even the greatest of heroes have failed time and again to stop this walking natural disaster. Now, a plucky young sidekick claims to have information that can turn the tide and bring this fiend to justice. But some heroes may not be willing to make use of it as it will step over a very dangerous line and set a precedent that could prove even more disastrous than the fearsome Doomwatcher.
Will you join the idealistic Golden Age heroes who refuse to step over the line? Or the more pragmatic Silver Age heroes who want to let civilian authorities act on the tip? Or perhaps the Modern Age heroes who are willing to use any advantage and step over any line to see justice done? Or will you just use this opportunity to explore the dramatic ties you have with other heroes? Join the Debate, join the fight, and hope that when the night is over the city is safe and your conscience is clear.
---
While there will be action and a fight or two (which will be resolved off-camera using a non-contact consent-based system), this is primarily a political LARP that explores generational friction, privacy, and morality through the lense of the superhero mythos.
There will be three groups of characters cast:
1. Golden Age heroes from the 1940s-1950s with godlike powers but often a very rigid and outdated set of values.
2. Silver Age heroes from the 1960s-1980s, many of whom fought in the Civil Rights movement, mostly on the winning side. But their activist days are long behind them and some are almost as set in their ways as the Golden Agers.
3. Modern Age heroes from the 1990s and later, these down-to-earth heroes have the least power but are far more in touch with today's progressive values.
