Description
Every country has its laws, every family has its rules. Grandpa Ugo’s clan has a few simple ones: no ignoring Grandpa when he speaks and no fighting at the dinner table. Sure, we all love each other, but being in the same room for a whole day is a whole other story. Will the truce hold until the end of the evening, so that we can forget our nasty relatives until next year’s dinner? Or will one of us finally decide to spill the beans?
The dinner table is no man’s land, what with the awkward silences and the clashes of will, but Grandpa’s voice will warm an atmosphere that would otherwise be deathly cold. Who knows? Maybe between one of his anecdotes and the next, our gathered relatives will find a way to really speak their mind and set off a chain of confessions and petty bickering. The important thing is to never let Grandpa down, or this might be our last dinner as a family.
