Description
What happens to dead larp characters?
This is a chance to bring to its end the story of your favourite character, in a space where all that exists are the tales we tell and the memories we leave behind.
You are a tiny mote of whispering light in an infinite darkness. All that exists are your memories, your stories, and your will to survive. There are others here, whispers of voices and glimmers in the dark. Which lights are safe to approach? Which tales and memories should you share? Should you listen to? Who can you trust?
Where your character’s story finally ends will depend on your choices.
Bring a character you have known in the past, or create one for the game. Which setting you are from is your choice – all the paths of the dead begin from this place. There will be a short workshop to help you develop the details your character and its life (and death), before the main game, with a short debrief/ wind-down afterwards.
… In the deep, dark places of the ocean, some of the tiny lights are other little fish. But others are things that are far, far more unpleasant…
Content Warnings: The larp is played in near complete darkness, except for small pinpoint lights. You are playing a character who has recently died. You may hear stories about characters who have died, perhaps in violent or unpleasant ways.

Ben Mars (UK): Ben Mars began larping in a pair of curtains sometime in the 1980s. He helped write and run The World Spring Trade Fairs ’97–’99 with the Knights of Ancalime, and contributed plot for the the Lorien Trust Unicorns Faction.
He was part of the Plot team of Profound Decisions’ Omega and Maelstrom fest games, attended Dragonbane in Sweden, then ran away to Australia, where he set up a cult in his spare time.
Since his return, he’s helped write and run interactive theatre events, and continues to NPC and play UK larp, usually as delightful, friendly, easygoing characters.
