Description
It is late September 1938. You are part of the Atherton family, or one their close friends, and have gathered for a dinner party the night before their younger son Bertram celebrates his 21st birthday with the customary Ball for the County and the tenants.
As the game is set in a formal 1930’s dinner party, appropriate costume enhances the ambience
Coming very much from the UK Freeforms strand of games, Alison lost count years ago of the number of games she has played. She very much appreciated last year’s The Smoke and the opportunity to experience other forms of Larp. As a member of Peaky Games, Alison has co-written a few games (including Burning Orchid which ran last year), and is wholly responsible for Dulce et Decorum Est which is running this year.
Content warning: The characters include French, American Jewish, and German. The characters are written to give the players the opportunity to explore the social attitudes of 1930s Britain.
