“The Black Cat” is a role playing game based on the famous German role playing system “The Dark Eye”. The players play a group of sentient cats in the harbor city of Havena. A magical event has given sentient to various animals. During the day, the cats pretend that nothing has changed. They walk naked on all fours and spend the day sleeping or hunting mice. As soon as the night puts its veil over Havena, they stand up, take clothes, implements and weapons out of their hiding places and pursue their true life. No wonder then, that most cats are nocturnal and spend the nice day on the windowsill and sleep.
