Taurus Empire Megagame

Description

A megagame for 30-40 people where all players are part of a faction which consists of 2-3 players working towards the same goal.
The game focused on very little direct conflict but more on trading, drafting of laws and resource production. Inspirations for the game were Sidereal Confluence and Battlestar Galactica.

Each 20 minute turn there was some sort of disaster in each region of the Empire that the players had to spend resources to deal with.

The player teams were a wide variety of fantasy tropes, such as trolls, nagas and elves but also regular humans. They all had unique abilities.

People enjoyed the roleplaying aspects and the negotiations between factions.

An anonymous feedback form was offered after the game, 10 people responded. Among the questions was a rating of the enjoyement from the game from 1 (no enjoyment) to 10 (complete enjoyment).
The results were a mean of 8.8 with a standard deviation of 0.79.
