Description
It has been 1 year since the armies of “Hessborgien” suddenly and brutally conquered the peaceful land of “Flemmgard”. There hasn’t been a big battle, no glorious fights where fought, the defences fell quick and the foreign forces flooded the land, bringing strange and unknown laws and rites to the old meadows and woods. But it’s easy to win a battle against an inferior opponent, the real work starts after the war, when a country full of hostile and hateful citizens has to be ruled by soldiers and bureaucrats unaccustomed to the habits of the people and the land they should be ruling.
Landfriedensbruch was set in the outer regions of the recently occupied country of Flemmgard, where the Hessborgian forces are eager to control their new borders to their new northern neighbors. An aging governor was ordered to rebuild a border-strondhold from a ruin that has served as a trade-post for decades now. Using the manpower of the men and women of a small flemmgardian community to do the contruction-work, he, his soldiers and his wife have to stay in control over the situation. But luck isn’t on their side, as a group of bandits or even partisans are roaming the woods nearby. There have been workers disappearing lately and the tensions are rising, especially with a traditional flemmgardian festive day ahead…
The game was designed around the topics of occupation, suppression, progress and tradition. It was a player versus player game with detailed pre-written characters.
