Description
A day in the life of a family on the brink of tragedy, struggling to connect in the midst of addiction, illness and life gone wrong.
In this adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s semi-autobiographical play, we tell the story of the Tyrones, a family in the 1912 United States. The scenario revolves around love, compassion, unfulfilled dreams, life gone wrong, illness and addiction. In O’Neill’s words it is a story ”of old sorrow, written in tears and blood”. The scenario is for four players as family members and possibly one more player acting as the facilitator’s helper, playing the roles of the support characters.
