a Star Trek Shitposting larp about silly, fantastical kinks

On Star Trek shows, ships typically pass through subspace while using warp drive. But we haven’t seen much about what happens when someone gets stuck in subspace for an extended period of time. As it happens, Subspace is an extradimensional space adjacent to the Q Continuum. It’s also a tavern and inn with an infinite number of rooms. (The special effect with stars streaking by, when ships move through there, is just the screensaver.)

This game attempts to answer the question "What if BDSM subspace and Star Trek subspace were the same?" Due to interference by Q, an assortment of characters from the Star Trek universe have been drawn into an extra-dimensional bar known as Subspace. The Continuum, displeased with Q's recent shenanigans, has appointed him bartender there until everyone is returned to the proper place in spacetime, in the appropriate timeline, without any other surprises. (You have to be very specific with Q.) But the laws of physics in Subspace prevent him from teleporting anyone away, until they reveal one of their most secret kinks to someone they just met... and then act it out with that person.

If you're playing someone from a Star Trek show, thematically appropriate kinks are encouraged:

* Will Riker and Thomas Riker want to have a three-way with… well, somebody of a species they’ve never slept with
* Worf desperately craves sweet, tender love-making with someone who won’t bite or scratch him even once (Klingon scandal!)
* Captain Janeway has some “interesting” ideas of new things to use coffee for
* Rom wants someone to stuff his mouth full of self-sealing stem bolts, while calling him a very naughty engineer
* Spock wants to hold hands with Kirk, gently kiss him on the cheek, and tell him how much he loves him (very very taboo for Vulcans)

Jokey / shitposty original characters can also work well:

* A self-hating half-Vulcan, half-Romulan with a tendency to randomly punch themselves in the face
* A Tamarian who’s trying to understand humans better, using metaphors from human culture - “Alice falling down the rabbit hole”, "Three Spider-men pointing at each other", "Woman yelling at cat", etc
* An android with a malfunctioning emotion chip. It makes them unbearably horny, but only for other machines (uh-oh, look who’s humping the replicator again…)
* A Vorta who’s been cloned so many times, his brain is mostly bad puns and incomplete vaudeville routines

Feel free to drop in or out. Characters' gender or sexuality can be whatever you like. If this makes a familiar character different from what other players might expect, come up with an in-universe explanation: maybe their identity shifted after exposure to cosmic rays, or they're a version from a different universe or timeline, or they were exposed to alien pheromones… yadda yadda *technobabble handwave*

If you aren't sure what kink your character might have, it can be generated using a random table of actions and recipients. (Examples: a character wants to tie up an Andorian's antennae, or tickle a Bajoran's nasal ridges, or lick a Borg implant)
