Description

Music is Magic. Those who can wield this power are called phonomancers. The New Orleans phonomancers in the Sempre Coven have lived for years as friends, bandmates, and roommates. But, to find their own futures, they have voted to magically disband their century-old Coven. In one night, the Sempre phonomancers will sing the songs about their relationships and the songs that will break them apart.
Participant communications
Outro is a Zoom LARP for 4 players that takes ~4 hours. This LARP includes a character survey, character sheets, and a total of 6 songs per person before the final group song (i.e. there is substantial singing prep). Pregame will include tech checks and relationship workshopping, which should take roughly 40 minutes. The actual in-game time is ~3.5 hours and the vast majority of that time should be focused on one-on-one interactions.
Content warnings
Themes and Content Warning This is a Type 2 Fun game. The themes of this game involves breakups, both of relationships and of a community. The focus here isn’t on winning by ‘solving’ your issues to make things work (although you can certainly play with that to increase angst!). Instead, the focus is on how people and relationships struggle when making clean breaks for themselves. If you enjoy angst, drama, and tears, this may be the game for you!

Outro also includes a wide range of sexualities, estrangement from family/lovers, substance abuse, financial stress, depression, vulgar language, emotional infidelity, making other people feel guilty through tears, and emotional intensity that could include being shouted at. This game is age restricted to 18+.
