2 years ago 43 seconds of dashcam footage from a police cruiser went viral. The video, ‘Slender Man Shot by Cop’, appeared to show an unnaturally tall and gaunt figure in a suit being shot multiple times by a uniformed patrol officer to no effect. The low-res clip which had apparently been taken at night on a stretch of forested highway, was largely dismissed as a hoax or a publicity stunt, but it gathered a cult following who insisted that not only was it genuine, but proof that the Slender Man was in fact real.
2 days ago a forum user on the conspiracy website thelonegunmen.net claimed they’d got their hands on the original video the clip had been pulled from. They've reached out to the community for help as they fear someone, or something, is now after them.
Paranoid? Certainly.
Delusional? Quite Likely.
