On the night of the storm, the world changed. Ten leagues west from the castle the road suddenly was overgrown, the watchtowers that once stood proud and tall crumbling ruins. To the east where there should have been ploughed fields, there stood a dark and brooding wood, seemingly never touched by the hand of man. To the south, travellers told tales of strange beasts... a creature like an elephant, but with shaggy hair like a great brown goat... others whispered of armoured dragons, which made the ground tremble as they walked. Only one thing is for sure... only magic most dark and sorcerous can be behind this!

• From Irishgaming.com : A Dungeons and Dragons scenario for Warpcon 2007. Time has been shattered, and so chunks of time have been uprooted and displaced. This phenomenon is spreading. Soon reality itself will cease to be as time will have no meaning. All will be now and all pasts presents and future will coexist. Obviously this is Not A Good Thing. All this is the fault of a Chronomancer, a time wizard, and if he is not stopped, he will destroy the world!
