YOU and your friends got together to play a board game, but: thanks to some dark magic woven by a betrayer, you’re trapped inside the board game and must escape! Will you be able to break free, or will you be BOARD TO DEATH?

What you will need

The General Manager (GM) will bring everything you will need to play but feel free to bring pens, pencils, a bunch of d6s, a good sense of humor, and a willingness to roleplay! There will be a safety briefing and an accommodation check-in before the start of the game.

About the system

Similar to other Grant Howitt one-page oneshots - the rules for BORED TO DEATH are very straightforward! When the player acts and the outcome is in doubt, the GM determines a Difficulty for the challenge. The players roll a number of d6 to one of the stats (Mind, Body, Spirit).

Each dice that shows 4 or 5 is a success and reduces the Difficulty of the challenge by 1. Each dice that shows 6 is a success, but also allows you to roll another dice and add that to your pool.

When the Difficulty of a challenge is reduced to 0, you’ve completely overcome it.
