Description
Once, the murderous crusaders of the Teutonic Knights came with lance and flame. Now, they come in secret, with iron crosses driven deep into the Russian soil, and where those crosses dig themselves into Moist-Mother-Earth’s breast, the Otherworlds begin to become warped by their alien faith and hostile magics. Simply digging up the crosses does nothing to reverse this spiritual invasion. They were forged from nails from the doors of the Rigas Doms, cathedral of the Bishop of Riga, the very door to which the so-called ‘Last Pagan in Latvia’ was nailed. Their magics can only be dispelled by a ritual conducted there, in the capital of the Teutonic Order of the Sword. A mismatched collection of pagan priests, Orthodox clerics and even a Lithuanian hunter-mystic, each with their own agendas, must travel into the heart of their enemies to foil this plot. And maybe get out alive. A 6-player game of ritual, subterfuge and medieval tradecraft in the world of Mythic Russia, using the HeroQuest game engine.
