Description

What is known across Whitehall as 'The Department' has been protecting the United Kingdom from the occult and supernatural since John Dee led it in the time of the first Queen Elizabeth. Now it uses complex algorithms to identify threats through analysis of social and other media; and the quiet market town of Ripon has just become a hot spot. Will the player character team of deniable 'irregulars' be able to find the threat and stop it? Their motto ... 'Protect & Survive'.
Players should come prepared to portray a hero in a world unready to accept the truth, to take risks, and embrace the consequences in a shadowy setting. Though the X-Card will be in play, adult and horror themes may be encountered, so players should be appropriately mature (16+).
