Iron GM Games - 10 am run
RPG system: LARP
Participants: 5-36 players
Description
Come play in one of this year's contest games and help determine the winner! You will be cast at the door to play in a game written a couple of weeks prior to Intercon in the space of 24 hours. The games will have a required genre, element, and prop(s) that are given the the game writers at the beginning of the writing period. The experience at the con will be getting to play these games. The themes/elements/genre will be revealed after the games are played. The themes for Intercon Q's games were a genre of parallel words, a theme of hope / false hope, an element of trickster animals, and a prop that was a strand of green lights. The intent behind the writing competition is to get people together to write new games and have fun. The intent behind playing the game at the con is to give feedback to the writers and also to have fun. You as a player will be asked after the game to fill a questionnaire about your gameplay experience to help evaluate the game. You get to play in a surprising and brand new game, and the winning authors get cash prizes and all the glory.
Note: Players will be divided equally between the teams/games for each time slot. Players may sign up for both time slots, as different games will run in each. If you are participating in writing any of the Iron GM games, please do not sign up to play, as that will disqualify your team.
