Description

Your goal is simple: survive the night.

Background: New England, 1650. You are a group of colonists trudging through the early spring to establish your new township, Owl’s Hollow, in lands west of the Taunton River. You have little supplies left - some have spoiled, some have been pilfered, some have been ruined by weather and accidents. You have made camp for the night, but food, water, and medicines are scarce. You must leave camp and search through the forest if you expect to survive the night, but who knows what dangers lurks there…

Owl's Hollow: Prelude is a survival horror game set in 17th Century New England. Players can expect high tension as they must survive life or death decisions with little time to spare. There will be a very minimal amount of combat that is resolved very simply through the use of boffer weapons and pop guns. Death will not come early in the game and players can expect to live through the vast majority of the game. The combat system is slow motion and there are no abilities or skills you will need to know other than whether you have a weapon or now.

Owl's Hollow contains themes of existential dread and the occult.

Players must be 18 or older.

Triggers include but are not limited to: extreme darkness, animal attacks, death, corpses, paranormal activity, claustrophobia, and gore.
