Description

Maharajadhiraj Sahastrajitsinh of Bharat has called together a bridegroom-choosing ceremony (a swayamvara) for his daughter, Rajkumari Yashri Parama Pandyan, and she set out a challenge: whoever told the best story would win her hand in marriage. So from far and wide, suitors and dignitaries of all species and genders, invited or not invited have poured into the palace to see this joyous and happy event, and to hopefully mend bridges over the generations of war that have been brewing in the hills and valleys between the nations, threatening to spill itself over all.

Everyone has a story on their lips, and a tale to tell...but what tale will be the best? Will there be a happy marriage? And will magic and the gods stay quiet, or will they make their opinions known to all?

Inspired by the Mahabharata, Ramayana and early Sanskrit dramas, Swayamvara is a game of magic, storytelling, duty and desire.

This is a 16+ game for romance, violence and adult themes. Warnings include: Survivor’s guilt/PTSD, polyamory, genderqueerness, queer sexuality, fantasy racism, semi-improv public storytelling, past and possibly present abusive relationships. Please email us at the address above if you have any questions.
