Description
G.I. Joe is the codename for American's daring, highly trained special mission force. Its purpose: to defend human freedom against Cobra - a ruthless, terrorist organization determined to rule the world.
75% of the Earth's surface is covered in water. A string of civilian ships have gone missing, only to reappear in oceans far away. Could Cobra be behind it? The Joes are determined to stop Cobra before they strike again!
This game is based on the 1980s TV cartoon in all its poorly animated and ridiculously plotted glory. A truly astonishing number of episodes take place on water, almost as if the show's creators wanted to sell many, many Joe and Cobra toy boats. If you will be bothered by unrealistic portrayals of ships sinking or underwater bases flooding, perhaps while a GM douses you with a squirt gun, you might want to consider carefully before playing this game. Knowledge of the show will help you enjoy the game to its fullest, but is not required. Please note we have listed some characters that are male in the show as "neutral" to give more women a chance to play. Women may be asked to cross the gender line to play male characters without romantic entanglements. Players will be asked to play multiple characters, either as "horde" or for a short time while their primary character is "off screen."
Adult themes are not specifically present, but players 17 and under should contact the GMs prior to registration to ensure this game is appropriate.
