Description
What makes an individual? What makes a community? What gives a life meaning?
In the latter half of the 21st century, three families face a new frontier. The planet Jefferson, a habitable world 21 light years from Earth is now open for settlement. The Deveneaux, Jones, and O'Malley families have set out on a generation ship in order to secure that future for themselves, as their ancestors did in Spring River, Missouri.
The children of these families will spend most of their lives aboard a small starship. Along the way, they must answer questions about love, duty, family, and purpose.

Spring River is a LARP about identity. Players will embody aspects of the personalities of members of the three families. How these aspects play out within each individual will determine the course of their lives, the lives of the three families, and the future of their community. The aspects of a single individual will be physically connected to each other by a string. Each aspect will interact both with the other aspects of their individual and with the other individuals, via _their_ aspects. The game will span a full generation as individuals grow and change as determined by their aspects.
**Content warnings:** death of loved one, forced physical proximity to a small group of other players (no touching required), the existential void. 16+
