Set during the reign of Roman Emperor Commodus, Senator Marcus Fulvius Carbo has invited you to his country villa to celebrate the harvest feast of Pomona. A number of friends, allies and their servants have been summoned to worship this ancient harvest goddess on her most high religious holiday. It is, therefore, an excellent opportunity to escape the scheming, plotting and paranoia that currently grips Rome. Clean country air, the taste of crisp fresh apples and the liquid nectar of such fruit should make it easier to enjoy the peace and quiet of the rural countryside.
