Description

Love conquers all! Or does it? Join famous couples from literature as they discuss their marital issues and explore options to salvage their relationships. Sometimes you have to tell the truth, even though it hurts, in order for the wound to heal. Love is great but can love endure in-laws, children, sexual slumps, infidelity, and other trials of long term relationships?

This larp is a low mechanics game focused on storytelling and the characters working out their own interpersonal relationships mingled with a large dose of mockery for “romance” in literature. The game is very impromptu and character driven.

Happily Ever After may have some or all of the following couples: Romeo and Juliet, Robin Hood and Maid Marian, Cleopatra and Marc Anthony, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Beauty and the Beast, Lizzie Bennet-Darcy and Mr. Darcy.

The game may (depending on which couples are used) have themes of: infidelity, homosexuality, sexual dysfunction, addictions, gambling, polyamory and sexual harassment)

Triggers include (but might not be in the game depending on which couples are played): infidelity, alcoholism, abuse, rape, suicide, addictions, infertility, passive aggressive manipulation, eating disorders, death of a child, post partum depression, body dysmorphia, BDSM, death of a loved one, psychological issues \*might include more... all will be listed in casting form\* If you have specific triggers that concern you please contact the GM with inquiries.
