Description

It is the end my friend... well the beginning of the end in any case. The dead have risen and you don't know why. It's the first night of the Apocalypse and you have taken refuge in a downtown hotel. This is a moderately serious game about how you would deal with the Zombie Apocalypse. Hopefully the players will face difficult moral decisions and a lot of inter player conflict...also zombies. **NOTE:** This is a game about Zombies... Zombies are dead, ergo this is a game about death. Think more 'The Walking Dead' than 'Zombieland'. Also, as much as budget and time allow there may be nasty bits. This is meant to be tense psychological horror. If death, loss and the end of everything are not subjects you want to explore then you should avoid this game.

It's the eve of the zombie apocalypse a day just like any other so far. It will end with you and 15 other people trapped in a room with no obvious way out, hordes of zombies surrounding the building and only an hour to figure out who to trust, how to get out, and how this all happened.

This is a very short, very high tension game. It is emotional, stressful and intense. All the characters are faced with hard choices and harsh consequences.

Characters in this game will be tied to you personally via information I will gather from a character questionnaire. The story and general roles are established but personal horror and investment come from the details, and those will come from you. I have run the game three times and this is very effective, so far there have been tears in every run.

Characters will be completed at least two weeks prior to the game start so you have time to think about them. The game is costuming light as it is a modern day setting and you are playing somoene very much like you.

The content of this game is mature. Required age 16 or older.

The game is about being in a life threatening situation.

The game uses sudden darkness and intense character backgrounds tied to the real life situations of the players to evoke intense in character responses.

The game includes themes of death, loss and guilt.
